What is happening to good music

Random stuff

One thing amazes me. It is the endless ability of people to ruin things… To loose any good taste in art. How people easily sell quality for the sweet tingling of gold coins falling in their pockets.

About 25 years ago, amazing songs such as this were rocking our radios:

Or this:

Ok this last one was around a bit more than 25 years… But what about this one:

Class, hey?

Then why do we have so many britneys and hannas showing up everywhere with their rubbish music? Where is the quality of that thing they call music? And why are they being so successful? Why is pop music gaining ground and rock slowly fading? Is rock music dead? Hope not. I wonder if this was how my parents felt when they listened me putting songs like I just showed you above. Did they feel that their songs were dying too?

Maybe it is me avoiding doing assignments or just feeling nostalgic… Don’t know why I though of this. However, you should be doing something better with you time besides reading this. After all, I am just a guy with a Pub with no beer.

I think there is room for all types of music. There is still rock music around just look at Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire.
